The health district does not require barbers to be screened for tuberculosis, does not require them to get any vaccinations, and does not require them to get a food handler safety training card unless they are employed to be a food handler.

However, Nevada Statutes NRS 643.070  and NRS 643.080  and the corresponding Nevada Administrative Codes NAC-643  require medical testing or screening for all barbers.
