In 2007 the Nevada State Board of Health revised state regulations relating to communicable diseases. The regulations mandate the following:

• A child enrolling in grade seven must be immunized against Bordetella pertussis.
  
  
• College freshmen under the age of 24 who plan to live on campus must be immunized against Neisseria meningitis.

Clinics

Middle-school Clinics

The health district will hold clinics at middle schools to vaccinate children entering 7th grade with the mandated Tdap (tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis) vaccine. For more information visit the middle-school clinics webpage.

Public Health Centers and Satellite Clinics

Immunization Schedule

The immunization schedule developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is the recommended guide on when to get vaccinated. Visit the (CDC) website for the most updated immunization schedules.
