SNHD Vital Records sends all birth and death certificates via First Class Mail through the United States Postal Service (USPS). SNHD Vital Records is not responsible for any lost, misdirected, or undelivered mail by USPS or any other delivery service.

The Southern Nevada Health District has birth certificates for Clark County births from 1973 to the present. Birth certificates can be requested online, by mail or dropped off in office. Valid photo identification of the requestor and proof of relationship if required must be included with all applications. Incomplete applications will not be processed. If a record is not found, a non-refundable $10.00 search fee may be applied.

ONLINE ORDERS

An email requesting payment will be sent, please allow up to 5-7 business days.

MAIL orders will be sent by first class mail within 1-2 business days after payment is made.

PICK UP orders will be available for pick up once payment has been made.  Certificates can only be released to those authorized in the application.  Certificates will only be held for 60 days from the date of payment.
