Community Health Volunteers
Note: Applications for Community Health Volunteers are not being accepted at this time.
Community Health Volunteers support a variety of programs and projects within the Health District to enhance the services we provide to the public. Our volunteers come to us as college and high school students, community residents, retirees, members of community organizations, or referred by state agencies. The Health District does not participate in court-ordered community service.
Our volunteers provide administrative support (such as typing and filing), customer service (answering phones, providing general information, directing customers to appropriate departments and helping customers complete forms required to obtain service) and product preparation (packaging specialized products as needed).
