The Southern Nevada Health District Aquatic Health Program (AHP) is responsible for the permitting and regulatory oversight of Aquatic Venues (swimming pools, spas, etc.). The program conducts both Operational and Plan Review activities.
Operational inspections are routine, annual inspections conducted on Aquatic Venues currently in operation. Aquatic Venues subject to permitting include public pools, spas, and other structures.
Plan Review activities include the review and approval of plans and specifications submitted for new and remodeled Aquatic Venues, as well the review and approval of system/equipment alterations to existing venues.
