Health district phone lines will be down over the weekend –
public advised to call alternate number

LAS VEGAS – September 15, 2006 – Phone lines for the Southern Nevada Health District will be down beginning Friday, September 15, 2006 at 5 p.m. If members of the public need to reach the health district offices over the weekend, they are asked to call 796-4672. Calls will be routed to the appropriate office through the health district’s regular answering service.
The outage is necessary in order to install a new power generator. All health district phone numbers beginning with the 759 prefix will be affected. Phone services will be restored by open of business on Monday, September 18, 2006.
