Final Maps

SNHD Environmental Health Fee Schedule Effective 2024-07-01
Any submittals received after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, will be processed the following business day (July 1st) and will be invoiced using the new fee.
Review Process
- Submit final map to Subdivision File Manager. If no improvement plans will be submitted an invoice will be e-mailed. Fees can be paid online or a check can be brought to the SNHD offices on Wednesday’s from 9:00 a.m. – Noon or 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Review will begin after fees have been paid.
- A comment letter will be sent approximately 30 days after fees have been paid either approving the map or requesting additional information.
- Final approval of the map occurs when the following conditions have been met:
- All issues addressed, if any, per the final map comment letter
- Health district approval of the tentative map and improvement plans
- Written approval from the sewer utility (will serve letter)
- Written approval from the water utility (will serve letter)
- Written approval from the Division of Environmental Protection for the final Map
- Fees are paid
- Construction can begin when final map is recorded.
Required on Final Maps
Final maps are reviewed to verify the following is displayed:
- Name of subdivision
- Legal description
- PLS Stamp, signature and date
- Lot count
- Appropriate District Board of Health Certificate verbiage
- Board of Health certification requires a review of
- Type of sewer system (community or individual)
- Type of water system (public or private)
- Vicinity map
- Owner’s certificate (of dedication)
- Water agency (well or name of public utility)
- Sewer agency (ISDS or name of public utility)
- Utility agencies and companies approval
- Water agency (well or name of public utility)
- Sewer agency (ISDS or name of public utility)
