OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) is designed to ensure that information about the hazards of chemical handling and associated protective measures is disseminated to employees. Southern Nevada Health District is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for its entire staff which includes providing training for protection from chemicals used in our workplace. This presentation will train you to recognize symbols and statements on container labels and SDS, follow instructions and warnings on chemical labels, read labels and SDS and take the recommended precautions in handling chemicals.
