In recognition of National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, the Southern Nevada Health District is honoring emergency medical service personnel. EMS Week will be celebrated May 15-21, 2005, and according to the American College of Emergency Physicians is designed to bring together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of the medical “front line.” |
Who | Nominations were submitted from each of the nine licensed Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agencies in Clark County. Nominees must be currently certified as an: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Basic; EMT – Intermediate; EMTParamedic; EMT – Registered Nurse; or Emergency Medical Dispatcher. |

Awardees will be recognized for their demonstration of excellent patient care, clinical skills, exemplary professionalism and for their exceptional contributions and commitment to the success and advancement of EMS. |
