Dave Sheehan named Public Information Officer at Southern Nevada Health District
Longtime PR professional and journalist joins SNHD communications team

LAS VEGAS – The Southern Nevada Health District announced the hiring of Dave Sheehan as Public Information Officer (PIO). Sheehan succeeds Stephanie Bethel, who retired as PIO after 16 years with SNHD.
In this role, Sheehan provides professional support of programs, services and functions of the Office of Communications related to public information, marketing and community outreach.
Sheehan has extensive experience in public relations and journalism. He served as a public information specialist at the Clark County School District for nearly 15 years, supporting communications for the nation’s fifth-largest school district. Prior to that, he held various on- and off-air positions at radio and television stations in Michigan, Nebraska and Montana.
His experience also includes serving as a writer/editor with the National Broadcast Division of United Press International. Additionally, he owned and operated a video production company in Montana for 11 years.
Sheehan relocated to southern Nevada from Montana in 2002. He resides in Henderson.
