Vaccine will be available for people ages 16 and over, and the Pfizer and Janssen vaccines will be available at these locations – while resources last. COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective, and free, and the Health District is urging all eligible people to get vaccinated. To date, 47 percent of Clark County’s eligible population has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Based on Clark County’s approved Local Mitigation and Enforcement Plan, once the county has reached the 60 percent threshold social distancing and capacity restrictions for businesses will be removed.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s updated guidance also advises that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks outdoors in public places unless they are in crowded places. More information about the activities that are safer for people who are fully immunized is available on the Health District website.
Updated information, resources, and additional clinic locations are available on the Health District’s COVID website at www.SNHD.info/covid. Daily COVID-19 case counts are available on the Health District’s dashboard at http://covid.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org/cases/.
