FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
April 22, 2022
LAS VEGAS – Immunizations are one of public health’s most important accomplishments and they protect infants and children from 14 vaccine-preventable illnesses. The COVID-19 pandemic interrupted some routine vaccinations for many children and National Infant Immunization Week is a perfect opportunity to bring children’s immunizations up-to-date. During National Infant Immunization Week, the Southern Nevada Health District will offer free or low-cost immunizations to infants who are eligible for the Vaccines for Children program at its four public health centers. In addition, the Health District will have free giveaways and a chance to win prizes. For more information and additional resources, visit the Health District’s National Infant Immunization Week webpage.
The Health District regularly offers immunizations at its public health centers. Service hours vary; check the Health District’s Immunization Clinic page on the website or call the immunization clinic at (702) 759-0850 for more information.
